Jayshree is the Executive Director of an NPO called Shakti Empowerment as well as the CEO of a Social Enterprise called JRP Socder Projects Pty Ltd. Both organizations are key drivers in Community Economic Development within Townships, Rural and Informal communities within South Africa and the African continent. The entities provide integrated Entrepreneurship Development Programs. We facilitate a powerful capacity building exercise specifically aligned to both emotional and mental wellness for entrepreneurs. We create Community based businesses, facilitate micro business creation and development, support, mentor and incubate community- based and township and rural businesses, smme’s as well as high growth businesses. We also specialize in scaling and replicating successful businesses with the objective of creating Micro-franchises, which in turn will stimulate and boost both business and job creation within our Townships, Rural areas and informal settlements in South Africa

Microfranchising:

TUT WIL (Work Integrated Learning)
Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is an essential component of higher education in South Africa, designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical workplace experience. WIL programs provide students with valuable hands-on learning opportunities, enhancing their employability and preparing them for the demands of the workforce. WIL Academy currently provides the WIL Program for the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in 3rd year Human Resources, over three Provinces.

The Women Entrepreneur Investor Readiness Program
is a targeted initiative focused on empowering women entrepreneurs to become investor ready. Through workshops, coaching, financial training, pitch practice, and networking opportunities, participants are equipped with the skills and confidence to attract investment for their businesses. By investing in the readiness of women entrepreneurs, the program not only supports individual businesses but also contributes to a more inclusive and vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in South Africa. In addition to facilitating our very own Women Investor readiness program, we are currently busy coaching 2 cohorts of women from the Graca Machel Trust, to be investor ready. The businesses are across sectors and them women are from different countries on the African continent.
